As I wipe the sweat off my brow, I make time to write – and apologize for not writing sooner. Been busy. Real busy. They say our business is recession-proof – that folks drink when they’re happy, and they drink when they’re sad. Truth be told – they’re SO right! The markets are running a bit schizo as of late, but the boozers keep on boozin.’ This makes us bartenders very happy, you know.
I’d like to encourage you to read my previous post, and to write a comment giving the best reason about how you think Don Lee broke his wrist. He’s pretty much healed at this point. But it’s still funny. Well, to me and Charlotte Voisey it is.
I’m including some photos below from my recent trip to London. I wrote about it a couple of posts ago and hadn’t uploaded my photos to my computer yet. I’m slacking off, I know. Sit back and enjoy the lovely scenery we encountered on our recent holiday.
(You’ll see Richmond, where our dear friends Mike and Lisa live: what an impressive, magical section of London, right on the River Thames. You’ll see the bartender at Shochu Lounge. You’ll see wild deer roaming Richmond Park. And you’ll see quite a bit of lounging around – sometimes with Pimm’s Cups in hand. That’s me in the funny cap, thinking I’m in Ireland.)
